My Story —
And why I created Strong & Lean

For most of my life, I was able to maintain my weight with a bit of effort and awareness. But in my mid-40s, everything changed.
Suddenly, it felt like my body was fighting me. Any change in diet or exercise seemed to lead to more weight gain, not less.

I tried countless approaches — including hiring a young 20-something weight loss coach (big mistake!).
It wasn’t until I followed the personalised, biochemistry-based approach behind what is now the Strong & Lean Method that everything clicked.

I lost 17 kilos in six months — even while taking two overseas holidays in that same period.
More importantly, I learned how to eat and live in a way that supports my metabolism and insulin sensitivity (my personal Achilles heel).

Now, I still live the Strong & Lean way — with more flexibility and balance — and I help other women do the same.
Because when you understand how your body works, you can finally stop fighting it.
