In today's world, stress is nearly unavoidable. Be it deadlines, relationships, money, illness, family, environment, politics - these can all lead to stress. Yet we all feel and react to stress differently. What stresses me may not even bother you and vice a versa. So stress is different for each of us

Although there are common symptoms associated with stress, we each feel stress differently. For some, like myself, it affects my sleep first and then my mood. For others, it is their energy and cognition. For some, it is the racing heart, shaky hands. Over time, we can then start to feel overwhelmed, lacking confidence, unable to make decisions. Hormones may be affected, our appetite, our weight. And the list goes on and on with the impacts getting more serious. Research indicates that stress has a strong impact on diabetes, autoimmune conditions, gut health and mental health.

So if it is hard to avoid, we each react and feel stress differently, we, therefore, each need to manage stress differently. More importantly, we each need to build our resilience, our ability to bounce back from, to stress differently.

It’s not the load that breaks you, it’s the way you carry it
- Lou Holtz

I am very excited to launch my Stress Resilience program. An 8 module do it at your own pace program that is designed to help you understand how stress impacts your physical, mental and emotional health and how you can increase your ability to respond and bounce back from stress.

This program is designed to help you to identify what stresses you, how you feel it and how you can recover, adapt and become resilient to stress. If you know what stresses you and the impact (symptoms and long term health damage), then you can start to take action to decrease the effect stress has on your physical, mental and emotional health.

The goal of this program is to take you from feeling:

- out of control to being calm and focused

- overwhelmed to confident

-  wired and tired to active and balanced

As a naturopath specialising in gut health, I often see the physical, mental and emotional toll of stress in my clients. Many times, stress is a significant factor in, and sometimes even cause of, their current health state.

I created this program to help people learn easy every day actions to help them better recognise, manage and bounce back from stress.

I created this program for a highly stressed person so the information is easy to understand, relevant (no fancy complex concepts) and practical. The tips are all about those actions and activities you do every single day.

The point is not to stop taking risks or to avoid stress. The point is for you to feel like you can handle whatever comes your way!

The course will be delivered via email allowing you access to watch 45-60 minute videos with homework to help you to really solidify and customise the knowledge for you. This is where transformation happens. So don't cheat yourself!

The course will cover

  • What is Stress- how to identify stress: symptoms, tests and easy at home tips

  • What are the signs and symptoms of stress

  • Impacts of Stress- why do we even need to worry about stress

With this understanding comes the desire to act – then we learn what we can do to minimise the impacts of stress by making some small and some not so small changes to:
