Staying Healthy in the Holidays

With the holidays fast approaching, we can allow our thoughts to turn from work and deadlines to socialising, food and drinks, and hopefully relaxation.

Although all thoroughly enjoyable, this time of year can also be a time of unhealthy eating, high stress and limited exercise. All of which can wreak havoc on our gut and mind if we're not careful.

Here are a few tips to make the most of the holiday season while maintaining a balance between temptation and healthy practices. 

1) Stay hydrated. And not the wine variety of hydration. Aim for at least 2 litres of water daily plus extra when drinking alcohol (say, one glass of water for every glass of alcohol), when out in the sun and exercising.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome
